If your former employer does not
respond after 4 calls with messages, it is our
opinion that we must discontinue the job reference
checking process and close your order as not to
look suspicious or unnatural to your job
reference. You do not want job reference
checking to seem like harassment to your
former employer.
Please look at this
situation as a potential employer would;
obviously your former employer does not
care to respond, thus implying, that they do not
want to give you a good job reference.
The
mere fact that your former employer
is not returning the job reference
checking call does imply that they do not
wish to discuss your previous employment. This is
your answer about what your former employer will
say about you.
Your case Special
circumstances may dictate we deviate somewhat from
this job reference checking process. Your
reference case is still in the process of being
completed. Thank you for your patience.
We must be very cautious with your job
reference checking. If there are too many calls
made to your former employer, it may signal that
something is amiss. During a regular job reference
checking process any potential employer would call
no more than 2 times and at that point they would
dismiss this former employer as not
wishing to give a job reference.
