If you are
wondering if your former employer will find out
that you are checking job references, the answer
is - absolutely not. At no time do we reveal who
has hired us to check references. We check
references for companies, attorneys and numerous
other clients. Ninety-nine (99%) of the employers
we call for job references do not ask anything
about who we are. This is hard to believe and
every day it also shocks us at the willingness of
individuals to divulge confidential information
about former employees. Approximately fifty (50%)
of the
job references we receive are poor to
bad. Obviously these clients are having a
difficult time finding a job and bad job
references are more than likely the reason.
This makes it very important that
you check references first.
